The Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has dismissed the case of the possible insult by the English player of Real Madrid Jude Bellingham to his compatriot Mason Greenwood in the match against Getafe, in which the former would have called the latter a “rapist” according to the club getafense.
The file decided by the RFEF disciplinary committee responds to the impossibility of confirming whether said insult occurred, as Getafe transferred to the League and this in turn to the RFEF, sources from this organization confirmed.
At the end of the match of the twentieth matchday of the League, which was played on February 1 after being postponed by the Super Cup, Getafe sent a complaint to the LaLiga match director about this fact, in which Englishman Jude Bellingham had allegedly called “rapist” in English (“rapist”) to his compatriot Mason Greenwood.
Following the club’s complaint, LaLiga followed the usual procedure and requested a lip-reading expert report to investigate the incident, which was subsequently sent to the federative disciplinary committee, competent to decide on the matter. EFE
