The “Maniatika” metro station of Metro line 3 will remain closed on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 March 2024.
The trains they will pass through the station without stopping.
Passengers will be able to be served by bus line 909 that connects Maniatika station with Nikaia station in both directions.
The station will remain closed for OSA works to install electronic ticket gates.
According to athenstransport.gr, similar works, which will require the successive closure of stations, are expected to take place at the remaining stations of the extension of line 3 to Piraeus where the project is being carried out (Agia Varvara, Korydallos, Nikaia, Piraeus, Municipal Theatre).

How will passengers be served?
In order to serve the passenger public due to the shutdown of the “Maniatika” station, OASA proceeded to modify the bus route 909 AGIOS VASILIOS-AGIA SOFIA-KRATIKO NICAIAS passing through this station, so that it passes through Nikaia Station and on two directions and to transfer the passengers of the area.
At the same time, from Maniatika Station, passengers will be able to be served in both directions by the existing lines 814 SCHISTOS-KARAVAS-PIRAEUS, 825 NEAPOLI-AGIOS ANTONIOS-PIRAEUS B as well as by bus line 824 NAPOLI-AGIOS ANTONIOS- PIRAEUS A in the direction of Piraeus.
In addition, the timetable of bus line 909 has been extended:
