Tesla is working to the new Model 3 Performance whose debut would be very close. As we know well, with the arrival of the Model 3 Highland (the restyling of the electric sedan), the car manufacturer had removed the Performance version from the price list without mentioning anything about a possible return. Fortunately, several pieces of information arrived confirming the work of Elon Musk’s company on a new Model 3 Performance.
After a series of photos and spy videos that allowed us to see this model and understand some of the design innovations, some information on the technical specifications has now been leaked.

Apparently, the future Tesla Model 3 Performance it will have the 3D3 engine at the front and the 4D2 engine at the rear. The first already equips the Long Range model of the electric sedan and is capable of power 158 kW. The rear unit, however, is new and will count are 303 kW.

Overall, therefore, the new Model 3 Performance will be able to have greater power than today. If we simply add the two values, the car could count on 461 kW which is over 600 HP (about a hundred more than today). However, we don’t know how Tesla has decided to handle power delivery and other aspects of the powertrain. Therefore, the simple sum of the two values must be taken with due caution.
Furthermore, according to what has been leaked, the new rear unit reaches peak power at 110 km/h. The engine of the previous Model 3 Performance reached peak values around 70-75 km/h.
Apparently, the new Model 3 Performance will weigh as much as the previous model (1,855 kg). Nothing will change even at the level of the battery pack which will be supplied by LG.
As for the other innovations of the future new Model 3 Performance, we remind you that it will have a specific body kit. At the front there will be a redesigned bumper with the integration of a much more noticeable splitter. At the rear, however, there will be a carbon spoiler and above all a new diffuser. The interiors will also feature some new features as some will be made available specific sports seats.
