“I will not tolerate any rift in the Parliamentary Group” is the message sent by the president of PaSoK, Nikos Androulakis, speaking to Live News and asked about the scenario of party discipline regarding the bill for non-state universities.
“When I said that I will not stand in the way, I said it long before the bill for non-state universities was submitted,” said Nikos Androulakis.
“We say a strong public university and non-state – non-profit”, emphasized the president of PaSoK, referring to the controversial bill being discussed in the Plenary Session of the Parliament, and his categorical “no” to it.
“We discuss democratically and there are different opinions”, he replied regarding the distances kept from his own “line” by Nadia Giannakopoulou and Odysseas Konstantinopoulos.
“I am driven by values, not polls, I cannot imagine a social state with education, which will be a field of speculation”, he added.
