Manos Daskalakis said that he met the defendant in 2013 and they decided to have their first child at the ages of 20 and 24 respectively.

He talked about their relationship and the problems. “The problems started when I had a fling in 2018. I met a girl then, I got excited. He found out… He was in a very calm state. In the form of acceptance. I found her reaction strange.”

The death of Malena

Manos Daskalakis also spoke about March 2019 where 3.5 year old Malena died. The unfortunate girl had been diagnosed with leukemia and was hospitalized at the “Elpida” pediatric oncology clinic of the “Aglaia Kyriakou” children’s hospital, while her death was then attributed to liver failure.

In the trial of Malena and Irida, which began last November, Pispirigou is facing a charge of first-degree murder in a calm state of mind. The charge concerns the loss of life of her 3.5-year-old daughter Malena in 2019, the first child in the family to die, as well as six-month-old Iris in 2021, while the baby slept in the same room as Georgina.

In the file filed for the case, while Pispirigou was already accused for Georgina, it is stated that the two children died of suffocation due to the fault of their mother.

The court is expected to examine the medical examiners Nikos Karakoukis and Nikos Kalogrias, who ruled that the two youngest girls of the Daskalakis family died of suffocation.
