Now it is clear that Rebecca Stella is making a comeback as host for Paradise Hotel 2024 – this despite the fact that it was Nicole Falciani who last had the assignment. “I have really missed and longed for Paradise hotel, the way it once was,” says Stella in a press release.Photo: Viaplay
Earlier this year, Viaplay revealed that Paradise Hotel returns in its original format – even though it was previously replaced by the updated version Paradise.
Now the streaming service announces that Rebecca Stella, 38, will host the show:
“I have really missed and longed for Paradise hotel, the way it once was, with lots of drama, love and friendship. Finally, it’s time to stir the pot again and I’m so excited,” she says in a press release.
In the same press release, Joakim Franke, head of content at Viaplay Group in Sweden, says that Stella was a “given” choice:
“We are very pleased to be able to present Rebecca Stella as host again for Paradise Hotel. She has become something of an icon for the show and has been well-liked by fans and contestants alike. With five seasons under her belt, she is a given ambassador for Paradise Hotel’s comeback and we look forward to the launch of this popular program this autumn.”

Nicole Falciani: “Feels boring”
The news that Stella is hosting Paradise Hotel comes after Viaplay confirmed that influencer Nicole Falciani, 26, will not be returning to the role – despite taking over from Stella in 2020:
“I would have loved to host again but unfortunately I will not be the one to do it. The production has chosen to go ahead with someone else,” wrote Falciani in a text message The evening paper last week. “If I had been asked, I would have been more than happy to say yes. It feels boring, of course, but you can’t have everything in life.”
When does Paradise 2024 premiere?
Paradise hotel will be broadcast in the autumn on Viaplay, TV3 and Pluto TV.
