Pedro Acosta being one of the rookies in MotoGP 2024. The 19 year old rider said Marc Marquez will become a big name in MotoGP.
MotoGP 2024 will start this weekend. The first race this season is the Qatar MotoGP which takes place at the Lusail Circuit.
Acosta moved up from Moto2 to the Gas-Gas Tech3 team. The Qatar MotoGP will be the iron horse’s debut in the primary class of racing.
In the previous season, Pedro Acosta finished third in Moto2 2023. He won seven races out of the 20 races held. Apart from that, Pedro Acosta also recorded 14 podiums and three pole positions.
Marc Marquez realized Pedro Acosta’s good results. He also emphasized that the Spanish rider could become a top racer.
“Pedro will be one of the people this season,” said Marc Marquez on the MotoGP website.
“He has everything to become a big name in MotoGP,” he added.
Pedro Acosta He underwent a test at the Lusail circuit in the last half of February 2024. He finished 15th with a time of one minute 52.046 seconds. Pedro Acosta was 1.094 seconds slower than Francesco Bagnaia in first position.
