The first family lives in a rented 2+1 house in Liberec and consists of twenty-seven-year-old saleswoman Eva, her thirty-six-year-old partner Lukáš, who works in a hospital, and their three-year-old daughter Izabela. Eva’s six-year-old son Jakub also lives with them in alternating care. The partners have been together for four years and Eva signed them up for the Wife Swap. She would like to change Lukáš’s behavior towards Kubík and for him to stop being such a pedant about cleaning.
The Liberec participant of the reality show will head to Děčín, where the other participants of the Wife Swap live in a 4+kk apartment. Simona is thirty-eight years old and is a field nurse. Pavlo the garbage collector is thirty-nine years old. Fifteen-year-old Natálie, nine-year-old Jakub and eight-year-old Sebastián live in the household with them. Pavel signed up the family for the program because he wanted to experience how it works in other families. “Simon’s motivation was the financial reward for participating in the show. Simona and Pavel met twenty-five years ago. However, Pavel married Natálka with another woman, they moved to England, where they had two more children. After thirteen years, they returned to the Czech Republic, separated, and Pavel met Simona again, who already had two sons. They have been together for two years now,” said Nova TV PR manager Daniel Maršalík.

Eva feels good about her new home, she appreciated the family’s taste. But she is bothered by the tracks near the house, because passing trains wake her up at night. While on the first morning he praises the children for how good they are, by the afternoon he finds out that it is not good to make a first impression. Children can be very energetic and the temporary husband wishes she was stricter with them. The topic of contention between the temporary partners is the mess that is created while cooking.
Děčín’s mother likes her new apartment. Her tasks include taking the children to school and kindergarten, and on the very first day she admits that she would not like to do it every day. “Simona has the feeling that Lukáš doesn’t know anything about his household, that Eva probably arranges everything there. While talking to him, she learns that Lukáš was unfaithful to his partner Eva, but they have already overcome the crisis. Later, he also learns that Lukáš is insolvent due to stupidity in his youth. Simona Lukáš seems unreadable, she doesn’t really know much about it,” added Maršalík.
