Retail chains in the Czech Republic have disappointed customers in the past two years. They discovered that they could not be trusted. As soon as they sensed an opportunity, they raised prices so significantly that many households found it difficult to pay for their basic needs.
Take advantage of unique offers
Unfortunately, even Lidl did not escape these controversies. Regardless of the fact that it has been shown how much the various discount events are just a marketing trick and you don’t actually save anything on them, as they are based on overshot standard prices.
Now, however, some chains are trying to return some of the accumulated wealth to customers in the Czech Republic. Among them is Lidl, which is launching a very interesting event that has never been seen before.
“As part of the new Lidl Plus lottery, one customer will be refunded the value of their purchase every minute,” the company said in a press release, adding that the event will run from Monday, March 4th to Sunday, March 17th. The only prerequisite is to have the Lidl Plus mobile application installed, without which it is not worth shopping in this chain anyway. And then, of course, also make some purchases.

Generous limits
The rules are very generous and it’s definitely worth a try. At the same time, it is true that they can reimburse you even for a very expensive purchase. The limit is CZK 5,000, for which you can buy a really full shopping cart, maybe even two. The more purchases a customer makes, the more likely he is to win.

Until now, the Lidl Plus application mainly offered special discounts intended for members, or discount coupons that had to be applied before purchasing. Scratch cards are also an interesting bonus, but also simple things like the fact that your receipts are saved in the application.
However, Lidl has recently been trying other innovations that have not been met with such enthusiasm. It is primarily about testing purely self-service food sales, as reported by the server Eprehledne.cz. In some stores, the chain completely switches off the standard checkouts at certain times and allows you to mark your goods only at the self-service ones. However, this is a problem if you are not good with them or have a large purchase.
