“Its objective is to strengthen the capacities of local organizations led by youth, women and indigenous peoples to consolidate democracy and advance prosperity in Guatemala and the region. The planned activities of the project include: Self-knowledge sessions and evaluation of administrative capacities, institutional strengthening of local organizations, support in increasing the capacities of these groups to achieve prosperity in their communities, organizational support and creation of spaces for dialogue.

“Through this USAID project, the United States Government reiterates its commitment to supporting sustainable and inclusive development in Guatemala, including in communities that have historically been marginalized,” it was added.
