In the home game of the Sportunion DIE FALKEN St.Pölten against the Sportunion Handball Leoben, the Lower Austrians got off to a better start and went into the half-time break with a 17:15 lead.
Thanks to a strong initial phase from the guests in the second half, they were able to turn the deficit into a lead and ultimately win 29:26. This means they get the first two points in the promotion round!
HIB Grossschädl Stahl Graz celebrates home success!
The Perchtoldsdorf Devils started the away game at HIB Grosschädl Stahl Graz on the second matchday of the South/East relegation round with a 3-0 run. Before the half-time siren, the Graz team followed suit and were able to turn the game to 13:10 in their favor. The Lower Austrians tried in vain to fight their way forward in the second round, but in the end they had to admit defeat by a narrow 26:27.
