The Cuban singer Seidy La Niña has given something to talk about again, now by proposing a collaboration with the controversial reggaeton singer Michael Sierra, better known as ‘El Micha’.
The ‘Mulatica’ singer is characterized by her often controversial statements, such as recently when, after her performances in Austin and Dallas, the Cuban stated that “wherever she goes they give her money,” sharing images of a line of her fans trying to put bills in his clothes.
Now, the singer asked her audience if they would like to see a collaboration between her and the reggaeton singer, sharing a photo from when she met him at the last Los Premios Lo Nuestro gala, in Miami, last week.
“Tell me if you would like this meeting,” he wrote on his wall, where he tagged El Micha.
The urban singer did not hesitate to respond to the post, limiting himself to putting up a flame icon, which was enough for the Cuban to emotionally comment on all the admiration she feels for him.
“Negrooooooo since before I was born I have wanted this together. Honor, respect and admiration,” she wrote to him.
This admiration came out again on Facebook, when, when asked by a fan who said he did not know who El Micha was, Seidy did not hesitate to explain why she would feel honored to collaborate with him.
“He is an exponent of the Cuban urban genre. One of the best-known exponents in Cuba (be careful in many other countries as well). He is one of my favorite exponents and it would honestly be an honor for me to record with him,” he said.
“Fire and with a capital F”; “It would be a tremendous song, don’t hesitate and record it”; “I would like that union”; “That is the attitude, union and prosperity”; “A collaboration, that’s great, it would be great,” were some of the comments.
The truth is that although many of his followers expressed emotion for the meeting, others do not forget that El Micha is one of the collaborators of the regime, who has defended the dictatorship, denied repression and strongly insulted the Miami exile.
Although Seidy has never spoken out against the dictatorship and has even literally expressed his desire to distance himself from everything political, some of his followers recommended that he be careful with who he chooses to collaborate with and take care of his artistic quality.
