From May 2024, the Gabonese company Afrijet will begin serving the Central African Republic.

The agreement was signed on February 29, 2024, between the Ministers of Aviation of the CAR, Gontran Djono-Ahaba and that of Gabon, Loïc Moudouma Ndinga. It was on the sidelines of the work of the fifth ordinary session of the Central African Air Safety Supervision Agency (ASSA –AC), in Bangui. This agreement will allow the Gabonese company Afrijet to begin serving the CAR from next May. “Another way to open up the country.”

Presiding over the opening of the proceedings, the Central African Prime Minister, Félix Moloua, indicates that this session comes at the right time to help the CAR benefit from the expertise of other CEMAC states in the field of aviation security, a very sensitive for which the need for well-trained managers is very great.

Afrijet is a Gabonese airline which already provides regular connections with several airports in Cameroon, Gabon, São Tomé, the Republic of Congo, Benin and Equatorial Guinea.
