A malfunction hits Xiaomi devices after a system update
Media outlets reported that a number of Xiaomi phone users have complained of problems appearing on their phones after installing the latest update to the MIUI 14 and HyperOS operating systems.
According to technical reports, users were surprised while trying to install the MIUI 14 and HyperOS update that their phones stopped downloading updates and entered a continuous reboot mode.
Technical experts say that the problem may have occurred because developers at Xiaomi made changes in the SystemUI software.
Xiaomi has not officially commented on these problems yet.
According to the media, the only way to restore normal operation of phones that have encountered this problem is to perform a complete reset of the phone’s functions through the Recovery Menu. In this case, the phone owner will lose all data stored on the device and it will not be possible to recover it.
