Vatican City: Pope Francis reiterates that gender ideology is the worst danger of our time. Gender ideology erases male-female differences. The Pope said that to abolish this ideology is to abolish humanity.
The Pope’s comments were made while addressing the participants of the International Symposium “Male-Female: Image of God, Towards an Anthropology” held at the Vatican on March 1 and 2. The congress was organized at the Vatican as a follow-up to the 2022 symposium dedicated to the theology of the priesthood, organized by the Prefect Emeritus of the Dicastery for Bishops, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, and the Center for Research and Anthropology of Vocations (CRAV).

Recalling the meditations and prayers of Cardinal St. John Henry Newman, Pope Francis stated that not only are we all entrusted with a mission, but each of us is a mission.
The Pope therefore welcomed the symposium and studies on the subject. The Pope said that it is useful not only to spread awareness of the vocation to which all men are called by God, but also to think about the current challenges of anthropology. The Pope also spoke about the crisis and the need to promote humanitarian and Christian vocations.
The Pope also emphasized the importance of promoting various types of vocations in the Church, saying that it is the task entrusted to every man and woman of our time to dedicate themselves to the service of the Kingdom of God to build a world of brotherhood. The Pope reminded us not to shy away from the risks involved in seeking God’s will at work.
