Rabithah Alawiyah suspects that the perpetrator faked his organization’s website and promised to produce habib certificates through more than one person’s back channels. Polda Metro Jaya will investigate the alleged involvement of other parties in this case.
“Everything will be investigated at the investigation stage, including if there are allegations of involvement of other parties,” said Director of Criminal and Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak, to journalists, Saturday (2/3/2024).
Kombes Ade said that currently his party had only discovered the fact that the perpetrator carried out the action alone. However, he confirmed that if there was information about this network of Habib certificate counterfeiters, the police would investigate it.

“Meanwhile (the perpetrator acted) alone,” said Ade.
Previously, Rabithah Alawiyah encouraged the police to continue developing cases of alleged falsification of his organization’s website and promised to produce habib certificates through back channels. Rabithah Alawiyah believes that the perpetrator was more than one person.
“Because we received information that there were marketing or sales people offering this service (fake certificates) to continue. So there was one of the perpetrators who offered this. We also hope that Polda Metro Jaya can develop this case,” said the Head of the Department. Law and Legal Rabithah Alawiyah Ahmad Ramzy Ba’abud when contacted, Saturday (2/3).
As is known, the police uncovered allegations of falsification of the Rabithah Alawiyah organization website and arrested one perpetrator named JMW (24). JMW faked the Rabithah Alawiyah website logo by promising a certificate of the list of habibs or descendants of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
“Creating a fake blog, and promising to produce a habib certificate through back channels (unofficial),” said Director of Criminal and Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak in his statement, Saturday (2/3).
