Nationalist Republican Alliance denounces that a few hours before the election of mayors and deputies of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), the judges of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) “have once again committed an illegality in complicity with the ruling party.”
The TSE magistrates signed the agreement to deliver 533 JRV substitutions to ARENA; However, they delivered 300 fewer substitutions than agreed without any reason or justification. However, the ruling party reprinted those requested, which “suspiciously” were all those from La Libertad Este.
For this reason, the political institute called on the TSE Magistrates “to be correct”, “to not continue staining the nature of the institution of which they are part”, “to resist the destruction of democracy that cost them so many years get this country” and “to guarantee Salvadorans that on March 3 their vote will be respected.”
ARENA maintained that if there are more irregularities, “there will not be a second electoral fraud.”
ARENA also called on electoral observers and the different international organizations pending the election to be “more attentive and present than ever” to defend the will of the Salvadorans.
