Other places

Revelers Hall is a New Orleans-style bar in the Bishop Arts section of Oak Cliff. This bar revives the 1920s jazz era with open-air jazz jams and other live brass rhythms, so it’s not exactly a Latin place; but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t invite Latin artists from time to time.
Local artists like Sabor Puro Cumbia and Los Gran Reyes have filled the bar with original songs and covers. Check the calendar to see when they feature the next Latin artist.
Just around the corner from Revelers Hall is LadyLove Lounge & Sound. Spinster Records duo David Grover and Kate Siamro opened this ’70s-inspired record lounge, complete with DJ booth and stage. Local DJs and artists star in nights of boogie, house, disco and neo-soul; but on Thursday nights you can enjoy Latin music.
The so-called Tropicalia Thursdays are entertained by several DJs who play cumbia, Latin and psych.
In East Dallas, don’t be fooled by the facade of the bridal shop next to El Come Taco; It’s just a facade. Through the doors is La Viuda Negra, a mezcal bar, speakeasy, connected to the taqueria. Local DJs have been known to perform here, but not all the time. It’s a small place to dance, and has a patio to enjoy tacos and drinks outside.
Limbo Room at Ruins is a premier venue for live music in Deep Ellum. There are all kinds of shows, local and visiting artists of all genres and dance parties on the weekends, such as Noches de Fortuna.
