Roger Federer cuts a good figure on any terrain.
For a long time, the sales structure of the Japanese clothing manufacturer Uniqlo was difficult to understand for tennis viewers in German-speaking countries. Although a global player like Novak Djokovic and Kei Nishikori, Japan’s most successful tennis player to date, wore the outfits on the world’s largest courts early on, the clothes were difficult to obtain in Europe.
The clothing company only got really serious when the 20-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer was sent to Uniqlo in the autumn of his career with a spectacular deal from his former supplier Nike. The first European brand stores have currently been opened in 44 cities. The only surprise is that there is still no store in the home country of the most prominent figurehead.
The Chinese market is of course also of immense importance for a globally active company. In order to be present there with the most famous brand ambassador, a video clip has now been published that shows Roger Federer in a time lapse for 24 hours in the almost 30 million metropolis of Shanghai in a wide variety of life situations. The 42-year-old always looks stylish in a variety of outfits, from suits to casual to sports outfits. Whether at a business meeting, at dinner with a hand in the kitchen beforehand, or sporting activities such as table tennis, cycling and light street soccer.
The professionally produced image film is definitely an eye-catcher for the numerous Federer fans all over the world. The Mestro also captivates everyone with its charm in the mini-clips circulating on social media about the shoot.
