Representative Evelyn Morataya publicly denounced administrative mismanagement by José Luis de León, Financial Manager of the Nebaj District Hospital, Quiché.
In a video that the same parliamentarian posted on her X account (previously called Twitter), you can see her visit to said hospital. Also, the way in which she directly denounced José Luis de León himself.

“Get to know him: José Luis de León is the Financial Manager of , Quiché. For almost 30 years he has made it his family fiefdom before the indifferent gaze of the health ministers.” This is how Morataya wrote at the beginning of the message that included the video.
Deputy Evelyn Morataya also explained that De León’s family works with contracts at the Nebaj District Hospital. In addition, she said that with this the official commits several crimes.
“He has hired his wife, daughter, son, sister, niece and two of his concubines. Together with Elmer Barrios Soto, Head of Human Resources, and Abraham Matom, trade unionist, they have allowed and promoted corruption. Nepotism, abuse, gender violence, abuse of authority and intimidation of staff,” he added.
“The Nebaj District Hospital has many needs, its staff and the population deserve urgent changes. I am going to file the respective complaints,” concluded the deputy.
