President Rumen Radev has invited the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan to our country. I hope this will happen, President Radev told Turkish media.
“The escalation of the war in Ukraine is growing, it is developing. We must realize that we cannot under any circumstances make decisions that will lead to the growth of this conflict. Both territorially, and in terms of range, and as new weapons.” This is what Radev said to the journalists.
“On March 6, there should be a resignation of the government,” the president believes.
He announced that he wanted to see more from Defense Minister Todor Tagarev. “I want to see a minister who works for the security of Bulgaria,” he said.
The criteria for evaluating ministers is strange. Some of the leaders in the coalition want Defense Minister Todor Tagarev to vacate the post because he is not doing enough for Ukraine. It is a form of nihilism. When will they ask themselves what he is doing for the security of Bulgaria and whether he is liked by the Bulgarian army? I want to see a minister who will work for the development of our army. This was stated by the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev from Antalya, where he participated in a diplomatic forum. Asked if Tagarev met these requirements, the Supreme Commander of the Bulgarian Army replied: “I want to see more.”
“The formation of a new cabinet depends on whether this parliament still has an unexhausted political resource to form a majority. It is certain that on March 6 there must be a resignation of the government, which will be accepted by the parliament and the consultation cycle will begin. Serious governance requires knowing exactly who is in charge. I should be responsible with my signature and with my decree, but everything is blurred and there is no more responsibility. There is no one to force me to sign a decree, but we are moving towards the hypothesis of a deep institutional crisis”, emphasized the head of state.
