Nintendo Lawsuit Against Yuzu Emulator Exposed: Company Caught Lying in Court Documents

After the company Nintendo filed a lawsuit against the creators of the emulator Yuzusome of the users decided to take a closer look at the company’s lawsuit and discovered an interesting detail in it.

One of the users found outthat Nintendo lied to the court in its lawsuit: the company stated that the creators of Yuzu allegedly advertised on social networks that the emulator works perfectly with Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and this post was made before the official release of the game, which in their opinion automatically equates to that the creators used a pirated copy of the game for this and thereby supported piracy.

However, according to the user who discovered this claim in the lawsuit, the Japanese company lied – the post was written by the creators of Yuzu only 7 minutes after the official digital release of the game, thus this cannot be an argument in court.

It is currently unknown how many of these false and absurd statements are contained in Nintendo’s lawsuit. The company is probably counting on the fact that the Yuzu team will simply be afraid of legal costs and decide to reach an agreement with Nintendo out of court. However, if the claim consists entirely of similar arguments, it is likely that Yuzu has a good chance of winning in court.
