The first lady is carrying out a humanitarian campaign in the province of Ngounié from March 25 to 4, 2024.
According to the First Lady’s communication, this campaign aims to provide urgent medical and social assistance to those in need. It will take place in two distinct phases, the first taking place from February 25 to 26 and the second from February 28 to March 4. The towns of Mbigou, Malinga and Makongonio will also benefit from these humanitarian actions.
During this campaign, consultations in general medicine, diabetology, ophthalmology, infectious diseases, pediatrics, surgery, cardiology, and many others will be carried out to populations, in order to allow them to have access to quality health care, often inaccessible in these remote areas.
In addition to medical services, the campaign also includes an important social component. Distributions of clothing, free meals and toiletries will be organized to meet the essential needs of local communities.
