The taxi drivers in Athens are lifting the handbrake on Tuesday as part of the 48-hour strike they have announced.
The taxi drivers are expected to gather at Spyrou Patsis Street at 10:30 and will then head to the Ministry of Transport.
As emphasized in the relevant announcement, the Greek Police will take measures to decongest traffic by making diversions and traffic interruptions, where necessary, along the route.
In particular, there will be traffic regulations from Spyrou Patsi Street, where TAXIS will gather, and then successive traffic regulations on the route through Athens Avenue, Karaiskaki Square, Marni, Patision, Alexandras Avenue as well as Mesogeion Avenue, up to the Ministry of Transport .
ELAS appeals to the drivers of the vehicles to avoid moving on the above roads until the completion of the mobilization.
In case of application of additional traffic regulations, there will be a newer update.
