Tangerang (ANTARA) – Internal Medicine Specialist, Allergy Immunology Consultant at Eka Hospital Cibubur, Dr. Yovita Mulyakusuma, said that often feeling tired, fever, joint pain, hair loss, rashes on the skin are signs that someone is experiencing autoimmune symptoms.

Type 1 diabetes which attacks the pancreas or systemic lupus erythematosus where the body’s immune system can attack various organ systems from the skin, blood, kidneys, joints, lungs to the brain.
Other autoimmune conditions that are systemic and quite common include Sjogen’s syndrome, systemic sclerosis, psoriasis. “Appropriate and immediate treatment is aimed at immediately controlling disease activity and reducing organ damage,” he said.
