The advertisements for the event were designed using artificial intelligence, reports the British newspaper The Guardian. It all looked that way very fairytale-like.
It was supposed to be an “immersive experience” based on the new movie “Wonka” that came out last December. The real images are shared on X:
Children received a handful of jellybeans and a cup of lemonade at the end of the route, one of the employees told Scotland’s STV News. Many parents complained that their children cried out of sheer disappointment.
Money Back
A few hours after opening and many complaints later, the event was canceled, The Guardian reports. People who had booked a time slot at a later time were just not informed about this. A group has now been set up on Facebook in which disappointed families share their complaints.
Even the police were eventually called. The organization of the event has promised that all visitors will receive a refund.
