The guilt of Dani Alves, for sexual assault in a club, leads Barcelona to “unpin” their former footballer from the list of legends.
The Catalans had placed the Brazilian full-back on the list of “legends” of the club, alongside 101 other names. However, the 4.5-year prison sentence imposed by a court in Spain is leading the “Blaugrana” to change.
In fact, according to reports, Barcelona will proceed with the removal of Alves once the punishment for the sexual assault is finalized.
On a football level, Dani Alves had won dozens of titles with the Barcelona jersey, with only Lionel Messi ahead of him on the relevant list. He played in 408 matches with the Catalans, winning, among others, 3 Champions Leagues, 3 Spanish Super Cups, 3 Club World Cups, 6 championships, 4 Copas del Rey and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
