“Lebanon Debate”
Volatile weather dominates Lebanon, with scattered rain falling inland until Tuesday evening, then gradually returning and stabilizing as of Thursday. The weather is expected to fluctuate as of next Saturday afternoon due to the influence of a depression currently centered between Italy and Greece.
In this context, the head of the estimates department at the Meteorological Department at Beirut Airport, Muhammad Kanj, confirmed to Lebanon Debyte that “today’s weather, Tuesday, is partly cloudy to cloudy at times with medium and high clouds, with a slight drop in temperature.”
He added, “It is expected that the humidity level will rise starting Tuesday afternoon, with the winds being active in the north of the country, fog forming on the highlands, and occasional light rain falling, especially in the interior areas.”
He pointed out that “the rain will subside during the night of Tuesday and Wednesday, with the weather gradually stabilizing.”
He pointed out that “today we have entered the third part of the so-called winter fifties, which is called “Saad Al-Saud,” during which the weather begins to become moderate and warm,” noting that “the trend for the remaining days of the winter season suggests that temperatures will not drop significantly.”
He continued, “It is expected that Lebanon will be affected by a moderate depression at the beginning of March, with a slight drop in temperatures.”
King confirmed, “Next Thursday, Lebanon will witness the largest increase in temperatures, exceeding their seasonal averages by at least 4 or 5 degrees.”
