The Ministry of Defense of Moldova stated that on February 26, no Russian unmanned aerial vehicles were detected in the country’s airspace.
“Due to the alleged risk of a drone penetrating into the space of the Republic of Moldova, we inform you that not a single drone launched by the Russian Federation this evening across Ukraine crossed the territory of the Republic of Moldova,” their statement quoted them as saying. Deschide.MD.
The report also says that Ukraine confirmed to Chisinau that all drones launched over the Odessa region were destroyed or jammed by Ukrainian air defense systems.
