Chelios paid tribute to Kane

– It looked a little strange to see him in a Detroit Red Wings jersey. Don’t worry, you’ll be standing here one day in the same situation as me, says Chris Chelios.
Chris Chelios himself grew up partly in Chicago and played nine seasons for the Chicago Blackhawks before moving on to the Detroit Red Wings.
The right-shooting defenseman won one Stanley Cup with the Montreal Canadiens and two Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings.
Mother Sue was there and drove her son Chris in a black Cadillac convertible onto the rolled out black carpet and to music from the Chicago band Pearl Jam in the speakers.
Both also in all black as she was wearing a black Chicago Blackhawks leather jacket with Chelios and 7 on the back and C on the chest.
