The fourth day of the SYRIZA Congress began with the briefing of the president St. Kasselakis for the change of his speaking time, which was postponed to after 11:00, and continued with the position of Nikos Pappas on the voting process as it will proceed before the end of business.
As he pointed out in a discussion with journalists, “any vote taken at the conference should be done by ballot, not by a show of hands”.
At the same time, the member of parliament and head of the Finance Department of the Official Opposition party clarified that “if the body decides not to go to elections”a possibility which – as can be seen from the reactions of the body of delegates – gathers several possibilities of confirmation, “it means that trust in the person Kasselakis is being renewed”.
In any case, according to Nikos Pappas, who insists on the proposal not to hold a SYRIZA leader election now, “everything is in the hands of the delegates”.
