The first month of spring – March – will be held in the “Latvija” concert hall and the “Jūras vārti” theater house with concerts of various genres and styles, dance performances and theater productions.
On the first day of March, both halls are invited to events. at At 18.00 in the “Green Room” of the “Latvija” concert hall, there will be a concert talk with songwriter and performer Arvi Sander from Ventspils. Finally, on the First Easter, on March 31 at At 16.00, musicians Māris Blāze and Artis Šimpermanis are invited to the concert “Once on the shore of Kurzeme” at the “Jūras vārti” theater house.
From March 16, two new exhibitions will be on view in the exhibition halls of the theater building – “Theatre in Pictures” by Viļas Vădţiņas and “Balletomania” by Arnias Martinelli. Both continue the theme of the stage, which was started at the beginning of the year in the exhibition “Stopkadrs operė”, which in turn echoes the anniversary season of “Jūras vartu” – this year marks 15 years since the large-scale reconstruction of the theater building.
