FIVE EXPOSURES: “Impressive – has breathed life into Djurgården again”

A NUMBER NINE THAT SCORES GOALS
Hümmet’s start with goals in both games bodes well for both himself and Djurgården. The team has not been spoiled with a nine that scores. Against Skövde, he should have scored a hat-trick and against Nordic, he once again shows that he has the ability to sniff out situations. I have of course seen a lot of him from Kalmar last year and he has also shown that he is good at hitting goals with his finishes.

My suspicions are that Hümmet has got his hands on the nine position right away and it will be extremely interesting to see both him and the team in a directly decisive match against IFK Göteborg next weekend.

THE INTENSITY AND DYNAMICS OF THE ATTACK GAME
With the intensity that Djurgården initially shows in both the attacking game and the pressing game, they create difficulties for the opponent. Nordic did not have a quiet moment during the first 20 minutes. The fullbacks come with both speed and timing. The midfield is mobile. The outsiders are quick-witted and enterprising. Hümmet is technical and playable. It’s impressive that new relationships have been forged so well in such a short space of time and if the team continues to play with this mobility and speed they are favorites to win the cup in my eyes!

Last fall, it was thought that Kim and Tolle might have done their thing in Djurgården, but after these two opening rounds, they have shown that they can breathe life into the sails again and I am impressed.

THE EVENT OF THE MATCH
Here there was a lot to choose from with Nilsson-Säfqvist’s misjudgment which gave Radetinac the chance to show his goalkeeping skills or perhaps Albin Ekdal’s re-entry into Swedish competitive football. But…

… Bergvall’s assist for 3-0 is magnificent. The twist to a free Hümmet is phenomenal! Bergvall’s 4-0 goal is even more magnificent. The goal reminded a lot of the goal that Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored in Ajax once upon a time. Where the finishing feint fools both defender and goalkeeper. But what drive Bergvall can bring up with the ball! The speed technique allows him to easily dodge away from his opponents and oh my god how easy it looks when he floats forward.

THE QUESTION MARK
There are few question marks in Djurgården right now. The players complement each other well and the team has decided both of their two cup matches early. But if you have to find something that could be compared to a question mark, it is how well Tenho actually complements the calm and confident Marcus Danielsson. In my eyes, they have very similar characteristics as both are solid and smart but where they lack a certain speed in depth. Nordic had a clear free position and was close once more to running through DIF’s middle lock. But as I said, now I’m looking for question marks.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH
3:
Lucas Bergvall
Sly, witty, dynamic and match winner. All in the same nicely packaged package. Best on the plane! He shows that he is ready for bigger tasks.

2: Rasmus Schüller
Scorer, confident in the passing game and the one who strengthens the midfield defensively with his intelligence and his solid play. The Finn complements Bergvall and Leach Holm in an excellent way and the three-man midfield currently feels a given.

1: Piotr Johansson
In every single attack, he fills in along the right wing. Tireless and with speed. The cooperation with Fallenius causes problems for the opponents and if he can increase the security of his passes further, Piotr will make life easy for his teammates and maybe he can then add a few points to his currently rather meager harvest.
