Residents of Minsk were re-calculated by 4.4 thousand rubles due to three years of overpayments for rental housing, writes BELTA with reference to the city prosecutor’s office.
It turned out that they paid more for fat in one of the houses than in the neighboring one. Payment for housing and communal services under the lease agreement included extra meters, such as a loggia and balcony, and other areas.
Users of 11 residential premises paid the most. They have been recalculated. The heads of settlement centers and the chairman of the board of owners’ associations were issued orders to eliminate violations. Supervision acts were executed in full.
According to the Housing Code, the total area of a residential premises does not include the floor area of balconies, loggias, terraces and unheated (cold) rooms.
