A total of 19 publications and posts were made by the newspaper “Parapolitical” and the website of the same name parapolitika.gr at the expense of the lawyer Yannis Apatsidis which, as they admitted in their related post, “were untrue, insulting and insulting to his personality, in its innermost core”!
The media of the publisher Yiannis Kourtakis admit that “a lawyer was unfairly targeted during the performance of his duties” and expressed their “sincere remorse”.

“The newspaper “PARAPOLITIKA” and the website of the same name, HYPERLINK “parapolitika.gr” www.parapolitika.gr, in the years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 respectively published and posted nineteen (19) articles about the Lawyer Mr. Yannis Apatsidis, which were untrue, insulting and insulting to his personality, to its innermost core. This statement of reparation is being made on our part as the most appropriate way to express our sincere regret that a Lawyer was unfairly targeted in the performance of his duties. Following the necessary actions, and in order to restore the Truth, but also the honor and reputation of Mr. Apatsidis, we retract all the characterizations and claims against him, in all the publications-posts, and in particular and without limitation: That he was allegedly held in A.T., after a medical examiner’s complaint and an order from the judges of the seat, since the truth is that Mr. Apatsidis was the victim of criminal acts, both by the said former medical examiner, who is now belatedly controlled by the Disciplinary Councils of I. S. of Athens and Lasithi, as well as by police bodies, and he was recently vindicated by the Trimeles Police of Athens, which, with an agreed prosecution proposal, sentenced the pr. medical examiner sentenced to 3 years in prison and the officer of EL.AS. to a prison sentence of 1 year, and the other six (6) police officers were released due to doubts about fraud, after they confessed to all the factual incidents of Mr. Apatsidis’ complaint, and after his own consent. Allegedly, he said atrocities in Courts, something that Mr. Apatsidis never did, who was always exemplary, procedural and perfect in the performance of his duties. That allegedly D.S.A. should closely monitor his behavior in general and that he allegedly blackmails, which is completely untrue, as Mr. Apatsidis has never committed any disciplinary or criminal offense. That Mr. Apatsidis is allegedly targeting journalists, whom he wants imprisoned, while the truth is that he carries out his duties with absolute respect for freedom of expression. We accept that Mr. Apatsidis, in practicing law, works with respect towards human rights, fights against corruption, entanglement and opacity, even in the judiciary, and has contributed to the disclosure of many wrongs in the field of the judiciary, forensics, the tax administration, but also the police operation. We clarify that the received reports about the person of Mr. Apatsidis were made without any intention whatsoever to slander or insult his personality and were subsequently proven to be untrue and incorrect and therefore we sincerely express our regret for the disturbance we unintentionally caused to Mr. Apatsides and for the possible position of his person in public disrepute. We commit, and, as in the future, we completely respect his personality and do not repeat any of the mentioned or similar allegations against him, which is why we proceeded to remove all the posts in question.”
