Enjoy Argentine Films Outdoors at Manzana de las Luces: Free Screenings

Argentine films are projected outdoors in the Manzana de las Luces

The last evenings of this summer, starting this weekend, can be enjoyed outdoors by attending screenings of select titles from Argentine filmography. The functions, with free admission, are organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and will take place at the Kirchner Cultural Center, the National House of the Bicentennial and the Manzana de las Luces, in the city of Buenos Aires, and also at the Museum and Library of the House of Agreement, in San Nicolás de los Arroyos, province of Buenos Aires. In some of the spaces, the cycle will extend until the month of March.

From Friday to Sunday, there will be a program that includes contemporary Argentine cinema and international auteur cinema. The proposal accompanies both experimental expressions and work with short films. The meeting is on the sixth floor, to rediscover the power of watching movies in community.

The Manzana de las Luces offers a varied film program

A series with the best of recent national cinema to see under the stars: on Fridays and Sundays in February at 8 p.m., we present this open-air film series with the Argentine films of recent years most acclaimed by critics and the public. The screenings will take place in the large patio of the House and each of them will have the presence of the directors and protagonists in the room to talk with the attendees at the end of the screenings.

The selection of recently released films is a feast for film lovers: a range of genres ranging from supernatural thriller to surreal comedy, through intense dramas and moving stories. With these works, the cycle promises not only to entertain but also to provoke deep reflections.

This activity is carried out thanks to the work in collaboration with CAEF INCAA and is not suspended due to bad weather or rain.
