In 2024, the quotes of the first cryptocurrency will reach $150,000. Tom Lee, co-founder of the analytical firm Fundstrat, expressed this opinion in an interview with CNBC.
“I think it could be worth up to $150,000 this year. ETFs increase demand, halving reduces supply, monetary easing, which we expect, supports risk assets and Bitcoin,” he explained.
According to the expert, you should not count on a correction in the cryptocurrency market in the near future.
Longer term, Lee repeated his January forecast of Bitcoin at $500,000 within five years. At the same time, he said that by the end of 2024, digital gold will reach $150,000.
“It’s sound money, I think it’s proving its usefulness. It’s a great store of value, a good risk asset that’s also incredibly safe,” the Fundstrat co-founder added.
He emphasized that since the creation of the first cryptocurrency, there has not been a single fraudulent entry in its blockchain.
Previously, Matrixport analysts allowed Bitcoin to rise to $63,000 in March.
Let us remind you that in February, Pantera Capital specialists predicted digital gold at $147,000 in 2025.
An early Bitcoin follower, Tour Demester, suggested that the first cryptocurrency will reach $600,000 by 2026.
