Mountaineer Lotta Hintsa published pictures from his climbing this week. Hintsa climbed to a height of more than six kilometers on the Nevado San Francisco stratovolcano on the border of Argentina and Chile.

In October, Hintsa had an accident in the Himalayan mountains and badly injured his face. In his recent publication, Hintsa has shared a picture of his face four months after the accident.

Hintsa said on social media in October that he was supposed to climb Himlung, which is more than seven kilometers high, together with a mountaineer Jenni Jalonen with. However, the plan took a dramatic turn when there were 13 kilometers to go.
– I tripped on the bridge being taken down with a heavy tire, as a result of which I hit my head on the bridge. It was a bit blurry, but I quickly realized that the forehead is really open and I’m throwing up, he said on Instagram at the time.
Hintsa was transported to the local village hospital, where his wounds were cleaned and bandaged. Later, Hintsa was also diagnosed with a concussion.

In November, Hintsa published a video about his injury on Instagram. There is a short clip in the video where Hintsa holds his bloody forehead with his hand. In another scene, a bandage is wrapped around his forehead.
By November, the wound had healed quite well, but the scar was more clearly visible than now.

In December, Hintsa said in an interview with Iltalehti that she still has symptoms. The concussion caused drowsiness, brain fog and nausea. Back in January, Hintsa said that she was sensitive to lights and loud sounds. Situations that require concentration are also challenging and the balance is not the same.
