“The fires will increase. It is an up and down, because they are liquidated in one area of the country, and others arise in another area,” declared Ogaldes.
When referring to the emergency due to the forest fire on the Agua volcano, Vice President Herrera announced that 60% of the fire is already under control.
“The crews have increased and today 741 people and 67 vehicles were at the scene. In addition, 144 flights have been managed,” says the vice president.
Because satellite images have not been updated, it cannot yet be determined how many sources of the fire are still active. By having updated photographs, it will also be determined how far the work of the brigades or crews has progressed.
