The Swedish synthpop duo Kite’s new song “Glassy eyes” is beautiful, thinks music critic Tali da Silva.
– It’s not a dance floor hit, but it’s very beautiful. There is something about Niklas Stenemos’ squeaky, suffering voice that makes you feel a lot, says Tali da Silva.
Glassy eyes is about finding meaning in life and about the search for true friendship, love and passion.
– But that you might rather feel that you are sliding through life with a glassy gaze, says Tali da Silva.
The song is the B-side of a double single that will be released later in the spring.
Among this week’s music releases are also double duets. Julia Lov and Kid Eriksson’s song “Okej, det gör ont” and the indie rock band MGMT release “Dancing in Babylon” together with Christine and the Queens. Khruangbin also brings new.
