Detectives from the Chillán Robbery Investigative Brigade (Biro) managed to recover different species that were being stored in a home in the south-eastern sector of the city, recording not only jewelry and technological objects, but also weapons and four cannabis plants that were in growing process.
The head of the Biro Chillán, subprefect Jaime Rubilar Reyes, pointed out that they carried out different investigative procedures yesterday, based on two robberies that affected residents of the Doña Rosa and Doña Gabriela villas.
“In the framework of several consecutive investigations by which different victims have been affected by robberies in their homes, various investigative techniques have been applied, in accordance with legal measures coordinated with the Public Ministry, establishing that different species were being stored in a home. from the southeastern sector of Chillán, an entry and search order is being processed for the property,” said the PDI officer.
In fact, thanks to the efforts carried out, and coordinated with the Public Ministry, televisions, speakers, cameras, notebooks, video games, cell phones, watches, ornamental figures, as well as a rifle, a blank pistol, four plants were recovered. of cannabis in the process of growth All of this has a value close to $20 million. “In addition, a Nissan Kicks model vehicle was seized, which was observed based on antecedents that suggest its participation in other robberies, also determining that it had been charged with theft,” said Subprefect Rubilar.
Although its residents were not found at the home, the Biro Chillán detectives are carrying out various investigative procedures coordinated with the Public Ministry to determine the author of the robberies, to put him at the disposal of the courts.
