Huawei Pocket 2: Features, Specifications, and Release Date Out Now

On February 22, Huawei held the Huawei Pocket 2 Fashion Ceremony in Sanya and officially released its new small folding flagship Huawei Pocket 2. It is equipped with the industry’s first Xuanwu water drop hinge and the screen flatness is 62% higher than the previous generation.

In terms of appearance design, HUAWEI Pocket 2 uses the industry’s unique condensed mother-of-pearl process to reproduce the natural texture of black butterfly clams on the body, and then superimposes an optical film layer to finally present a Tahitian gray color scheme. There are also rococo white inherited from the P60 series, as well as two plain leather color options, taro purple and elegant black. Huawei also co-created with top high-end artist Iris van Herpen again to launch the HUAWEI Pocket 2 art customized version.

HUAWEI Pocket 2 also draws inspiration from Tahitian pearls, creating a double ring of pearls between the lens module and the permanent display screen. The connection between the double-ring outline and the fuselage is treated with fine arc polishing to create a streamlined surface. At the same time, HUAWEI Pocket 2 has polished the folding waistline, making the upper and lower bodies almost integrated.

In terms of images, HUAWEI Pocket 2 is equipped with the industry’s first full-focus XMAGE quad camera in a small foldable camera, a 50-megapixel super-sensing main camera, and an F1.6 ultra-large aperture, bringing in the largest amount of light in the industry’s small foldable camera.
