The 45-year-old father of the “early Christian” family, who lives in primitive conditions in a mountain hut in Corinthia, was released free until the trial.

He also claimed that he has not contacted his family: “I don’t know where my wife and children are.”
On leaving, he declared that he is disabled and that “thanks to working, I could get a pension”, however he has 3 years to work.
He asked to be examined by a psychiatrist
Earlier today, the 45-year-old father of a family of “Old Christians living in caves in mountainous Corinthia” was sent to prison earlier today, as he is accused of disobedience and violation of the law on the compulsory education of children. He was immediately referred to regular justice and released pending trial.
The 45-year-old requested an opinion from an expert-psychiatrist regarding a mental health problem he has. The 45-year-old filed the necessary documents, with him claiming that he had passed a relevant committee in 2020 and due to the coronavirus, it was not renewed.
Ignore the kids
The press representative of EL.AS. Constantia Dimoglidou told “Socionia Ora Mega” that DNA has not been requested to prove if the children belong to this family.
“There is a preliminary investigation in progress that has been ordered by a competent prosecutor at the AT of Corinth. It includes research together with a social worker in the home. By order of the prosecutor, the one minor child of the family, 15 years old, was also removed,” he said.
“No DNA has been requested to prove if the children belong to this family, but documents have been requested from the prosecutor to prove that the children belong to that family,” he said.
It is noted that the three minor children of the family are still missing, along with the mother, and the Police are continuing their investigations to locate them.
