The Iraqi Ministry of Health issued a statement revealing the details of the incident, according to what was reported by local media.
The statement stated that doctors at Al-Hamza General Hospital in Diwaniyah Governorate succeeded in bringing a 20-year-old patient back to life after suffering from cardiac arrest.

The patient underwent cardiac resuscitation and electric shocks, which were sufficient to restore life to the young man, according to the statement, which did not reveal more about the condition of the twenty-year-old patient.

Restoring the heart to movement again is permissible on a scientific level, and this is in the event that it stops pumping oxygenated blood to the brain and the rest of the body’s organs.

The patient’s chances of returning to life increase if he undergoes immediate medical treatment, and if it is delayed, the patient’s chances of losing his life increase.
