A collision between two public transportation units in the “corner of death” of San Salvador caused seven people to suffer injuries to different parts of the body, including two elderly adults who were traveling in one of the buses.
Two buses were involved in the traffic accident, one of them from route 29 and the other from 41-D. The causes of the accident were that the bus on route 41-D had a brake system failure.
Rescuers from the Rescue Commands assisted the beaten and confirmed that five of the patients were treated at the scene and that two older adults transferred them to the Zacamil National Hospital, in Mejicanos.
The collision caused heavy congestion in the area, while traffic agents from the National Civil Police carried out the inspection to determine responsibilities.
