Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) announced extraordinary achievements at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024. Chery claims, in one day, Sunday, February 18 2024 to be precise, Chery managed to achieve more than 100 Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) for various model.
Chery said that this achievement shows the high enthusiasm of the Indonesian people for Chery car products, especially the Omoda Series premium SUVs including the Omoda E5, Omoda 5 GT, Omoda 5 RZ and Z, and Tiggo Pro Series.
“We are very grateful for the positive response from visitors to IIMS 2024 towards Chery and grateful for their trust in our products. The hundred or more SPKs recorded yesterday along with hundreds of others since the first day of IIMS 2024 are proof that Chery is increasingly accepted and trusted by the Indonesian people ,” said Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand Department CSI, in his statement.

Chery Car Test Drive Crowded with Visitors
The enthusiasm of IIMS 2024 visitors for Chery products can also be seen from the number of people who took test drives. Of the total 14 units provided for consumers to try, as of Saturday, February 17, almost 300 visitors had done test drives for all models. Nearly 80 percent tried the Chery Omoda E5.
“We are happy to see the positive response from IIMS 2024 visitors to all Chery products. The Chery Omoda E5 is currently the most asked about, but the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, and other Omoda 5s are also still popular with visitors. We provide all models at “test drive area to meet different consumer preferences. By trying it directly, they will definitely be more confident and determined to choose Chery products that suit their needs,” continued Rifkie.
Many visitors gave positive responses after trying the Chery Omoda E5 in the test drive area. “This Chery Omoda E5 is really fun. I was really impressed by the exterior because it is really different from the others, very futuristic. Then the interior is also clean and modern. Earlier I also tried the fast acceleration. I want to go straight to the SPK,” said Nathan.
In the Chery test drive area, there are also two new models being presented by CSI at IIMS 2024. The two models are the Tiggo 8 Pro Max and Tiggo 5X which were brought in for introduction. With these two models in the test drive area, Chery wants to know the response of IIMS 2024 visitors.
