Today there was a release of an RTS strategy based on the Terminator universe: Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance from the studio Slitherine Ltd. The game has already received its first ratings from journalists: publication IGN Italia rated the game 85 points, and Multiplayer.it rated it 80 points.
Journalists praise the game’s challenging and carefully crafted missions, as well as its deep and engaging level of gunplay simulation. The game is called a good RTS strategy, but they note that the authors should have used the familiar Skynet as the enemy instead of the Legion. According to journalists, the game will suit both strategy fans and fans of the Terminator franchise.
In the single-player campaign, the player will take on the role of commander of the Founders faction and try to stop the Legion’s plan to destroy the last remnants of humanity. The game also has a network mode: in it the player is given the opportunity to play for three different factions – the Founders, the Legion or the Resistance. During battles, it is necessary to make tactical decisions, as well as use various equipment and infantry.
The game was released on PC without any DRM – the game is already posted it online group RUNE. The game features official Russian text localization.
