The electric crossover, which premiered last year, has been spotted on Russian roads. It will be officially sold here.
Chery eQ7 was photographed in Moscow by our colleagues from Quto.ru. Nowadays there are a lot of exotics appearing on Russian roads, imported in single copies to private individuals through “gray” imports, but in the case of the Chery eQ7 we should expect official sales, they say at the Russian representative office of the Chinese brand.
This is a fairly large crossover, comparable to the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max: its length is 4675 mm. In the Chery lineup, this electric car stands apart: it has an original modular platform and an aluminum body. The style is also special – it was painted in the Italian studio Pininfarina.
The car received an electric motor developing 211 hp. and 285 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8 seconds, top speed is 180 km/h.
The capacity of the traction battery is 67.1 kWh. Its charge lasts for 512 km (according to the CLTC cycle).
The new product features many luxurious elements: for example, the front passenger seat has an ottoman, vibration massage and a folding system that allows you to organize something like a berth.
Meanwhile, for the 18th anniversary of its presence on the Russian market, Chery is preparing to begin sales of an updated version of the Tiggo 4 Pro crossover, called the 18 years edition. The most important thing here is the new interior; photographs of it have already been published.
