Reception
As part of his visit to France, the Guatemalan president arrived at the Elysée Palace, which is the headquarters of the Presidency of the French Republic.
There he was received with the corresponding honors by his counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
The building is located in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris, on rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, and its construction dates back to the 18th century.
Once they arrived at the French government house, both leaders greeted each other and took the official photo in which they expressed their wishes to continue collaborating as nations.
In 2023, Guatemala and France commemorated 192 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
