Djurgården has finished with the national team-merited Canadian fullback Sura Yekka. The club announces this on its website.

Djurgården continues to prepare for the season. During Tuesday, the club announced that the Canadian full-back Sura Yekka, 27, is ready for the blue stripes.
She joins from Vittsjö and has signed a contract that extends over two years.
– It feels fantastic to be able to sign for Djurgården. I have played a year in Vittsjö before and was eager to join a bigger Swedish team, she says to the club’s website.
She continues:
– There I felt that Djurgården had a lot to offer, an association with great resources and a rich history. I want to be a part of it and contribute to taking the team in the right direction.
Yekka has 18 caps for Canada’s women’s national team on her resume.
